NHAA & Gather Partner to Bring Hispanic Auto Dealers Identity & Insurance Verification Solutions

The National Hispanic Automotive Alliance (NHAA) and Gather are pleased to unveil their new partnership. This collaboration will introduce Gather's identity and car insurance verification solutions to NHAA dealer members at a special introductory price.

The NHAA is an organization dedicated to supporting both Hispanic car buyers and the 20,000 independent automotive dealers who cater to the Hispanic market. Their goal is to ensure that Hispanic car buyers receive the experience they rightfully deserve when purchasing a new vehicle. This includes fair trading in terms of financing, language and cultural understanding.
 
Gather is an insurtech company that makes it easy for auto dealers to protect their dealership from fraud all while streamlining their proof of car insurance process. With the scan of a QR code, the car buyer is prompted to take a photo of their driver’s license, themselves, and their car insurance card. The automated process takes less than 90 seconds and when complete, the auto dealer achieves the following:

  • Verifies the consumer’s identity
  • Verifies the customer is not a fraud risk
  • Verifies the customer has active insurance coverage
  • Notifies the car insurance carrier of the policy update
  • Provides the car insurance documents needed to deliver the vehicle

Without having to wait for the manual process of tracking down an insurance agent to update their existing insurance coverage, delivery can happen directly–allowing the customer to enjoy their new vehicle sooner than ever before.
